Shipping Information
Shipping is available for pets purchased. Shipping costs vary according to pet size, weight, and ship to location. Fees include crate, airfare, acclimation certificate, and health certificate. Please contact us for more information.

1. If you are going to need to have your puppy shipped, let me know immediately, and we will need to make sure I can get the puppy to an airport close to you. I prefer to use Pet Air, which is a travel agent for pets and they look for the fastest flight to you. They can find flights to most major airports. The shipping fees start at $275.00 and go up depending on the size of your puppy. Larger puppies require a larger crate, and this adds to the expense which includes the airfare, travel to the airport, a crate for you to keep, and a health certificate Puppies must have a Health Certificate from a licensed veterinarian dated not more than 10 days prior to shipping. If we have to use a different airline, there may be an additional charge depending on the rates of the other airlines. Other airlines are temperature sensitive, and can not ship when it is really hot, or really cold.

2. Once we decide on the shipping date, Tuesdays are best, I do live 2 1/2 hours from the airport, and This is my day off.You may have to be a little flexible here. When the reservation is made, I will e-mail you the details, including flight numbers, times, a booking or confirmation number. Puppies can usually be picked up 30 to 45 minutes after they arrive at the airport.

3. If your puppy is small, 3 pounds or under, you will want to bring a small amount of Karo syrup with you to the airport to give to the puppy upon arrival, to help stabilize their blood sugar levels, so they do not get hypoglycemic.

4. Bring paper towels or baby wipes, and a cat sized litter pan with you to the airport, to clean up your puppy if they have an accident in their crate, and so as soon as you get your new puppy to your vehicle, they can use the litter box. I also recommend you feed your puppy right away, as it has been a long day, and they are probably very hungry.

5. You do have to show a picture ID at the airport when you pick up your puppy, for them to release them to you. This is why it is very important for me to know ahead of time who is picking up the puppy.

6. If you are having your puppy shipped, and I do request that you call me when you pick them up, so I know they have made it safe and sound.

7. I do get asked often, if shipping is really hard on the puppies. I ship approximately 50% of my puppies, and have not had any problems as of yet. Of course it is stressful to the puppy, and to us, but puppies are very adaptable, and they are usually eating, drinking, and playing before their new families are even home.
